My work explores the environmental crisis caused by red tide algae blooms and its connection to human activities. I created an installation combining materials such as polyurethane foam and waste cardboard boxes. My installation evokes both the beauty and danger of this natural phenomenon, telling the story of the destructive effects of industrial waste and carbon emissions on marine ecosystems. The use of red throughout the work represents both a warning to human behavior and the potential threat that red tides pose to human health. By combining aesthetic appeal with ecological concerns, I aim to encourage viewers to reflect on the role they play in protecting or disrupting nature's delicate balance.
