My work is inspired by the profound impact of human activities on coral reefs, a fragile yet critical ecosystem. Influenced by the documentary Chasing Coral and artists such as Courtney Mattison and Jason deCaires Taylor, I explore the delicate balance between human actions and environmental consequences.
Using Midjourney, I created two images that contrast color and material to symbolize the stark difference between a world where humans continue to harm the environment and one where we reduce our impact, allowing nature to recover. This project aims to raise awareness of the urgent need to protect coral reefs, illustrating how our choices directly influence the survival of these vital underwater ecosystems.
