Hope Beneath the Abyss

It is a digital illustration that stimulates the audience's emotional response through visual sensations. It also aims to deepen their feeling of the climate crisis through multi-visual impact, catching human attention and the relationship between nature, and let the audience feel the urgency of protecting the earth that human activities have unknowingly had on the environment.
Inspired by the artwork of Mariele Neudecker (1965), I wanted to express the feeling of suffocation through drowning. The little girl in the picture represents a group of people who are suffering from the climate crisis, and the polar bear image suggests the link between animals and disasters. I did not include any deep meaning, in order to help people of different ages understand the urgency of the climate crisis.
