My work is called Focus and Change, inspired by air pollution. Bing Xu influenced this work. In his series of artworks, The Story of Behind, he used a piece of glass to change the way things were. In my work, I tried to use plastic to paint and change the image that I watched to explain air pollution.
In this work, you can see a lot of colorful points that are plastic. In this painting, you can not see the image clearly because I wanted to use the plastic point to symbolize the smog that is produced during the disposal of plastics.
I wanted to remind people air pollution is not a crisis for the Earth, it is a crisis for humans. People’s habits have changed with the development of technology. This is the result of social development. I hope in the process of social development, all these beautiful things will stay here, rather than in people’s minds.
