My project is about global warming. In this era where interests are paramount, human activities such as deforestation, land use, and emissions of harmful substances have led to more and more severe global warming, even affecting the normal lives of humans and animals. This is the result of economic prosperity.
To reflect on this phenomenon, inspired by the melting of glaciers caused by global warming, I combined photography and performance art to showcase human greed and desire, which drives them to constantly seek resources from nature but ultimately suffer from the backfire of greed. This makes the issue of global warming more visual, intuitive, and persuasive, and can also bring profound reflection to people.
