My name is Hongbo Wang. My inspiration comes from the theme of climate crisis, and I want to combine wildlife with environmental pollution, because I think it is easier for people to empathize with things that should have cute faces, so as to better show the impact of climate crisis on life. In terms of techniques, I have been influenced by Chinese rock color artist Lian Yang. I like her pictures very much. She uses the transparency of rock color to cover them layer by layer, presenting a hazy effect, which is much like being refracted by water. Therefore, I use this effect to complete my art work, so that it is more in line with the characteristics of water pollution and peacock.
