My project is named " Disappearing Food ". In the project, I made a machine based on a traditional method of making tofu in my childhood. It is a frame of four sticks with a piece of gauze strapped tightly across. In addition, I used a special material, the ice. This inspiration came from “ The Ice Watch London “ which is a famous work by Olafur Eliasson and Minik Rosing. The ice melted away gradually by the minute in this special machine as a symbol of disappearing food. My design is just like a prediction of the relationship between food and high temperatures in the future, which aims to inspire public awareness of the relationship between agriculture and high temperatures.
