My project is "Painful Flowers", which is an illustration about the damage of climate crisis to plants. I use this art form to convey my personal emotions about the destruction of plants caused by the climate crisis, and I hope to use it as a warning to the audience.
My inspiration comes from the works of an artist, who made me realize the importance of plants for human survival. However, the climate crisis has endangered many plants. When I realized this, I felt scared, afraid of living in an environment where I couldn't breathe or have food in the future.
The center of my painting is an endangered plant called Saussurea obvallata. In my works, I deliberately chose a terrifying style, even a bit wild. The petals are melting, and the stamens are also becoming rotten. This is the message I want to convey. My entire project is aimed at conveying to the audience the serious damage caused by the climate crisis to plants, which will ultimately bring punishment to human society. This is a dangerous disaster.
