I planted a flower in a small patch of soil by mixing the tobacco of a cigarette with its butt.

My name is Jincheng Huang, and my project is to discuss the climate crisis. When I started working on this topic, my idea was to record in the form of images, there are many factors that lead to the climate crisis, carbon emissions, tree mining, water pollution and burning, which all contribute to the climate crisis, and I chose one that is happening all around us. What I want to discuss in my project is the impact of cigarettes on the climate crisis. Cigarette is a good material in this project because it can be seen everywhere, many people can't live without cigarette, which also leads to environmental pollution and climate change. When a cigarette burns, it will produce a lot of harmful gas. When a cigarette is carelessly discarded on the ground or in the water, it will pollute the water and soil of an area, which will do harm to the growth of plants. Plants absorb less carbon dioxide, and so does global warming. I planted a flower in a small patch of soil by mixing the tobacco of a cigarette with its butt. This is my way of documenting the damage that cigarettes doing to the plants.
