I want to influence people's ideas spiritually, so I set up an atmosphere to convey the spirituality of religion. As I am fascinated by the anti-logic brought by surrealism, I set up contradictions to bring a sense of difference to guide people to think about the relationship between environment and urban expansion.
I have created projections similar to stained window glass of cathedral by using clear acrylic sheets with the idea of using images to simulate a natural wonderland. You can find a wealth of images there: people swimming, confused crowds... Cell structures made from materials such as silicone oil and glue represent the microscopic level of nature. However, the macro level is human consciousness.
The work aims to influence people's reverence for nature through religious themes and encourage people to raise their environmental awareness. I hope people will think: Can people accept the loss of real nature, we will live in a virtual nature?
