This project presents ActiveQuest, a strategic initiative designed to elevate Gymshark's customer experience by integrating Augmented Reality (AR) and Big Data Analytics into their existing training app. Gymshark, already a leader in digital marketing and customer engagement, faced limitations in expanding its physical and digital presence compared to competitors like Nike and Adidas. ActiveQuest addresses this by gamifying fitness through AR, turning everyday workouts into interactive quests. Users can unlock virtual collectibles, complete exercise challenges, and track fitness milestones using their smartphones. The app introduces leaderboards for healthy competition, fostering a sense of community among users. Points earned through logged workouts can be redeemed for rewards, creating further motivation. Big Data Analytics plays a crucial role, allowing Gymshark to gather insights on user behavior and progress. This data is used to personalize workout plans, improving user satisfaction and enhancing the overall experience. Through ActiveQuest, Gymshark positions itself at the forefront of innovation, offering an engaging, tech-driven fitness journey that boosts customer loyalty and attracts new users. This project demonstrates how technology can transform brand engagement, creating long-term value for both Gymshark and its customers.
