I began my project exploring circuit boards, researching into the engineering behind equipment we use day to day such as lights, cars and computers. As my project developed my research expanded, looking at architecture and discarded objects I'd walk past. This led me to reflect upon the fact that everything, in some way or another, is interconnected.
I drew influence from Cecile Bahnsen and Molly Goddard's girly, playful approach to design, investigating how both brands champion femininity. As well as this I was inspired by Chopova Lowena's core design value of honouring traduonal craft practices, such as macrame or hand knitting, and showcasing them in new, exuberant ways.
