After watching Vesper three times, I remain deeply captivated by the film. Inspired by its aesthetic and atmosphere, I chose it as the primary influence for my current project. Using various painting media, I created a series of artworks, which I then deconstructed and reassembled to develop unique patterns. This exploration also led me to draw connections to Dune, particularly its visual elements, and further research into the Tuareg people’s intricate motifs. In addition, I experimented with innovative textile techniques, such as rust dyeing, botanical dyeing, indigo dyeing, and heat gun processing to create eerie, three-dimensional textures on fabric. Moving forward, I aim to continue exploring the fusion of biotechnology-based textiles with traditional dyeing methods.

Tate Modern, I encountered Mire Lee's large-scale installation Open Wound.
The fusion of mechanical structures with decaying silicone left a profound impact on me—it seemed to breathe, to pulse with unsettling vitality. This experience made me wonder: could the future evolve into such a desolate yet mesmerizing ecosystem, where technology and decay intertwine, and humanity searches for new ways to exist within it?
