This mini collection was my 2yr vocational degree graduate project. Its inspiration drew on the experience of being in a dark forest, embracing the calm chaos. I focused on exploring silhuettes, details and textures, it became eclectic, challenging what is considered cohesion, challenging norms, designing experiemental yet wearable clothing. This project was autobiographical, about owning my process, not blindly following everyone else, but daring to trust and reveal my own design skills, individuality and opinions. BeWildered was the project I used to do explore and pursue this, equally the concept captured the experience of seeing how far, and daring to let others see, the boundaries of what I can create; the unknown, frightening, uncertainty, yet thrilling experience of perseverence and faith. The project became one of four graduate projects shortlisted for the DS Fashion Talent Award 2022, and through that showcased in a joint runway show during Oslo Runway; the fashion week in Oslo.
