Task 3 - Imaginary worlds
Jason's The Adventure of 254, involving a figure with multiple hands signifying strength and protection, was the basis the inspiration for this artwork. Building on this idea, I researched cultural identity by connecting it to traditional Rajput Indian armour, which is renowned for its fine craftsmanship and symbol of courage and determination.
I included Rajasthani embroidered motifs to the design process to strengthen the cultural connection by combining vibrant hues and rich textures. While the research focuses on blending historical inspirations with modern aesthetics, the mood board highlights traditional Indian patterns.
By combining Rajput armor, Rajasthani embroidery, and symbolic hands, the project crafts a fantastical universe that honors cultural tradition while reinterpreting it from a contemporary perspective.
