FLORAL ECHOES ON SHELL

Inspired by the Flowers exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery, I began experimenting with painting on mother-of-pearl surfaces.

This exploration was driven by a desire to capture the fragility and luminosity of botanical forms through an unconventional material. The iridescence of the shell allowed me to reinterpret floral imagery in a more ethereal, shifting light—echoing both natural beauty and emotional resonance. This process also challenged me to rethink surface, texture, and how light interacts with pigment, further enriching my approach to print and textile design.
