A diptych containing two panels of oil paintings, ‘Night’ and ‘Day’. It references the many folktales based on British stone circles that depict women turning into stone as punishment for dancing on the Sabbath. The paintings are installed in a box made from leftover wood, inspired by Paula Rego’s ‘Oratorio’ 2009.
