Pyramid Scheme - The bosses

This project casts corporate elites as modern-day deities, false idols adorned in tailored suits, whose private lives betray the sanctity of their public power. Drawing visual influence from the raw realism of Terry Richardson, Larry Fink, and Helmut Newton, the series unveils a world where executive authority cloaks deceit and moral decay. Echoing the layered allegories of Jan van Eyck and Hieronymus Bosch, the work uses classical religious symbolism to frame these “bosses” as both worshipped figures and fallen saints. Their boardrooms become altars. The images satirize how society canonizes power while ignoring its corruption, revealing a system where salvation is traded for status. By blending sacred iconography with corporate decay, the project critiques the moral cost of success and exposes the spiritual vacuum at the heart of America’s rat race.
