I am deeply fascinated by this form of visual expression—the hard, cold shell, carrying associations with life and the protective barrier that surrounds it. There is a quiet tension in the shell’s form: it is both beautiful and distant, fragile and strong. For me, it symbolizes the boundary between inner vulnerability and the external world.
