Within Mist

Within Mist is an immersive installation that recreates the experience of being close to the forest floor. Using tufting techniques to simulate the soft, uneven texture of undergrowth, the piece invites tactile engagement from the body. As the user touches or rests within the structure, projection mapping responds with shifting patterns of light and shadow—echoing falling leaves, filtered sunlight, or rippling moss. The work blends physical texture with ephemeral visuals, encouraging a slower, more intimate reconnection with natural rhythms in an otherwise fast-moving world.
