The Cord Between Us
The inspiration comes from exploring the mother-daughter relationship, combined with personal childhood memories — from the reluctance to leave my mother’s embrace to the gradual process of becoming independent. This led me to associate the idea with plant pods; pod-like plants often have external structures designed to protect the seeds inside. This reflects the visual connection, tension, and wrapping between clothing and the female body.
