This project explores the intersection of traditional folk toys and knitting art, reimagining their cultural significance through a contemporary lens infused with shamanic wisdom. It reflects my personal interpretation and response to modern society’s yearning for authenticity, touch, nature, and meaningful connections—both with people and animals, echoing the shamanic understanding of universal interconnectedness. I aim to inspire younger generations to return to tradition and nature, embracing a slower, more childlike way of life that reawakens memories of a simpler, more authentic childhood while honoring ancestral knowledge. This project serves as a form of psychological and spiritual healing, offering a shamanic-inspired escape from digital distractions, consumerism, and social comparison through tactile, meditative creation.
