Apsara

An everpresent enigma, that had barely any information available about her, but was a pivotal character in every Hindu story told. They play the role of a spy, a seductress, a dancer, a godess, a warrior and so much more. Through this collection I wanted to convey this strength while also subverting the male gaze which was the sole reason they were reduced to being just the “beautiful dancers”. Hence, this collection is a menswear collection which looks like womenswear.
