Cosmic Intervention 2 is an intaglio print combining mezzotint and drypoint techniques to explore the interplay between shadow and line. The mezzotint provides a deep, velvety black ground that evokes the vast cosmic void and subconscious depths, while the drypoint’s sharp, gestural lines cut through this darkness, symbolizing fleeting memories and emotions. This work reflects the tension between the visible and hidden, stable and unstable, creating a tactile, evocative surface that invites reflection on intangible experiences made tangible.
