Our relationships with spaces are ephemeral and they soon become a blurred memory after some time. What we see, hear, touch, smell alongside with the history and knowledge we have about a particular place all merge together to make us feel. I think this feeling is very precious so I try to record it down in the method of en plein air. The short duration that comes along with drawing outdoor make me focus wholeheartedly on the current moment, the current space. They no longer become a blurred memory. They live as the drawings live.
