Gulick-Araújo
Gulick–Araújo explores the influence of my grandparents and my family history. The Gulick side reflects rural Canadian life, practical workwear shaped by farming and forestry. The Araújo side draws on Portuguese tradition, culture, and craft. Through archival photos and inherited clothing, this project combines these two aspects of my family, my personal interpretation of their inspirational legacy.
