Light

During the rapid urbanization process, the light in the living environment has also changed. In my childhood memories, the light of the Spring Festival fireworks, the night lights at the doorstep, and the clear starry sky in summer together formed a warm picture. But now, I live alone in the city, and the glass window opposite my room reflects cold and dazzling light every day. At dusk, it precisely shines into my eyes, like a person's spiritual desert. This project aims to uses textile as a medium to explore emotional connections through soft and touchable materials. Through textiles, it will evoke people's memories and experiences of "emotional light" in the lonely urban living environment, This project will combine the image research of festival fireworks, my memories, and personal imagery of light pollution, to inspire a textile collection.
