Drawing lines: visible divides in an artist’s city

This is an academic project which considers the changing visual identity of a gentrified urban landscape. It investigates how Camden’s visible structures reflect the changing social and cultural changes which have divided the town over the past 20 years, and in turn how such social and cultural divides are themselves influenced through visible structures in the built environment. The research behind this short film involved a review of existing literature and in person interviews with artists and residents, alongside photography and videography of the area.
