About me
Xi Fang, Master of Fine Arts. My work began with personal emotional experience and to into an exploration of the universal vulnerability and estrangement in daily life. I prefer a kind of fairy-tale-like visual language in installations or paintings, with vivid colours, cute animals, cartoon-like characters... To tell a story to the audience, a story which needs the audience's own imagination to finish; my work is a place for the audiences to the alienation, disorientation and unease.
