About me

My work is intentional, brutal, sensuous and personal. As a feminist, my designs interpret the emotional fallout women experience in modern society. At the root is discomfort, created through application, construction and raw materials. I take inspiration from films 'The Northman' and 'The Wickerman'. In my BA collection I explore the manifestation of the male gaze within feminine identities, analysing the emotional feelings of resentment and disgust that are felt due to objectification.
