The transformative expression of consciousness, relationships and imagination is the basis of Minjing's practice. Her sculptures, installations, drawings and texts are influenced by the life experiences and traumatic memories of her extended family in the context of the patriarchal society. She consciously uses the brain as an imagination, perception machine and memory container, feeling time, the ebb and flow of memories, the forces of nature, and transmutes the relationships, emotions and sensations captured by her consciousness into symbolic expressions with an inner drive. She brings an exploration of life subjects into her artistic practice and attempts to express and build a landscape of her own inner world.
