Qin is an artist based in the UK and China. As a daughter, wife, mother, working woman, and housewife, she experienced various dilemmas contemporary women face. She tries to constantly seek and explore her identity as a woman and human being in her artwork. Qin spent her early years in college studying mechanical engineering, so she has rich experience in dynamic mechanism design and application. After devoting herself to art, she gradually developed her unique artistic language, colorful mechanical installation. The artist often creates lively and light-hearted contexts to narrate serious feminist topics.
