To create my concept for Experimental Process I took the idea of decaying sculpture and broken plates combining it with Art Nouveau style jewellery. To visualise this idea best I created a still life of broken plates and pearl necklaces which helped develop the concept as I was able to explore the colour and textural information more in depth than when I visited Kew Gardens and The Hirst Collection. Through experimental multimedia work my technique choices for my samples were well informed. To further illustrate my original inspiration I developed a beading technique that worked well as an embellishment and highlight to the textiles.
