Grayson Perry Chancellor Robe 2019 - Burlesque Officer

BURLESQUE OFFICER - Working for Grayson Perry was the perfect occasion, as a womenswear student, to get more experimentations focusing on textile design. Colours are bright and fabrics are all hand printed in a heat press (except latex which is hand made). All pattern are inspired by rocks and gems and are hand painted . Finally, for the shapes, we have a kind of romantic, “travelling coat” dress stylized with a revisit of a “bicorne” hat as a burlesque headpiece.
