Wan's father forces a change in her interest group and she is devastated by it. Meanwhile her brother is born.

Her father feels guilty about this, and as compensation, he gave Wan a puppy, which Wan named Einstein.

Einstein is lost when Wan’s grandfather walks his dog without a rope, and her stepmother tries to cover up the incident by giving gifts to Wan. A heated argument breaks out as a result.

The stepmother buys a dog that resembles Einstein and tries to make Wan think that the dog has been found and forces Wan to admit that it is Einstein.

Wan’s father promises to take her to the Astronomy Exhibition because of guilty and Wan’s high score in English exam.

The father and daughter arrived in front of the venue, but found that the astronomy exhibit was not yet open. Wan’s father promises to with the family when it does.

It's Wan's brother Zhao's birthday. Everyone is so busy celebrating him that his father forgets his promise.Wan has to go to the venue on her own and discovers that the exhibition is already finish.

Zhao likes to beat the dog for fun and as a result Einstein bites him, Wan’s stepmother gets angry and tells Wan's father to take the dog away.Wan tries to stop it but fails.

Having lost his dog twice, Wan is greatly affected. As a result she does not do well in the English Speech Contest.

However, Wan wins a Physics Competition. She inquiries about the place where Einstein was sent as a reward and knows that the dog is in a Stray Dog Rescue Centre. But Einstein dies after arrival because of refusing to eat or drink.

Wan's father takes her to a celebration for winning a physics competition, where her father's colleague orders a dog for her. Wan chooses to eat it, symbolising her compromise with her father.
