Reimagining Black Superhero's
Collaborative project between costume designers and hair and makeup artist in reimagining both Black Panther and Strom in a post war Wakanda setting. Each designer focused on a costume element, mine being focused on the armour that they wear. The armour was made with a buckram base, wood-looking floor vinyl, leather thonging weaved into the pieces and raffia. Black Panthers armour was held using repurposed leather belts and Storms is held on by lacing around the neck and by being attached to her spine jewellry.
